Bright Brains Global Ltd is committed to promoting a culture of Good Governance in its operation.

Definition

Good governance is ensuring respect for human rights and the rule of law.

Good governance means that we recognize our accountability, we act on lessons learned and we are honest and open in seeking the best possible outcomes and results for people.

Good Governance is the holistic approach taken by the management to the Organization’s policies and procedures that collectively ensure the delivery of excellent and ethical standards of service, and their continuous improvement.                         

Purpose

To ensure compliance and efficient organizational operation.

Procedure

Bright Brains Global will be committed to the following audit system to ensure that our service is run effectively:

  • Monthly Health and Safety Audit
  • Infection Control Audit
  • Care Plan Audit
  • Medication Audit
  • Fire Risk Assessment
  • Service Users survey
  • Relative Survey
  • Professional Survey

 

Our organisation will work closely with the local authority commissioning and quality assurance team to ensure that our service meet the regulations.

 

Bright Brains Global will comply with its obligations in respect of this Regulation in the following manner:

 

  1. Quality Assurance

 

Bright Brains Global has produced and published its Policy/Procedure Statement on Quality Assurance. This policy statement says;

 

Bright Brains Global aims to be the provider of choice within its catchment area and believes that it will accomplish this aim by ensuring that it meets the expectations of its clients, families of Clients, staff, and all other associated Stakeholders. Bright Brains Global will monitor satisfaction levels in all key areas of its operations, and will review, evaluate, and implement improvements, where necessary, on a continuous basis. This process will be known, throughout Bright Brains Global, as the “Quality of Service Programme” (QSP).

 

  1. Safe Care and Treatment

 

Bright Brains Global has implemented robust procedures in relation to the safe care and treatment of its clients. The principal policy statement addresses:

 

  • Bright Brains Global Statement of Policy on Health and Safety;
  • Risk assessment practices and procedures;
  • Staff Competencies;
  • Transition and shared arrangements;

 

  1. Client Records

 

In accordance with this Regulation Bright Brains Global will create, amend, protect, store and destroy records relating to the care and treatment of its clients in accordance with current legislation and guidance.

 

  1. Staff Records

 

In accordance with this Regulation Bright Brains Global will create, amend, protect, store and destroy records relating to persons employed in accordance with current legislation and guidance. The following Policy/Procedure Statements support Bright Brains Global commitment to Good Governance:

 

  1. Health and Safety;
  2. Quality Assurance;
  3. Recruitment;
  4. Records Kept in the Home;
  5. Staff Support.

 

  1. General Data Protection Regulations

The Directors of Bright Brains Global is ultimately accountable for strategic approach to data protection, delegated to the Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will ensure accountability for the implementation of this policy and related procedures.

The OM has operational responsibility for the organisation’s good practice and will be accountable for maintaining the Records of Processing Activity and Data Controller notification.  

All employees, volunteers, contractors and temporary workers, are required to understand and comply with this data protection policy and all related procedures.

Review and Improvement

This Policy will be amended from time to time to ensure it remains up-to-date.
